Why do you need Pilates?
1. Mobility. Your body should be able to move freely right into your older years. The Reformer and our class plans will keep you flexible in every way your body can move.
2. Strong support muscles. There are more than 600 muscles in your body. We work your smaller and deeper stabilising muscles as much as your primary movers. When done with correct form we can work towards aligning your whole body's structure and support your joints.
3. Balance. Crucial as you age. Moving with true core strength and body awareness means you are way less likely to fall. And if you do twist an ankle or fall on a wrist you will recover quicker.
The list goes on; strengthens posture, decreases stress, prevents injuries, increases energy, boosts immunity, improves coordination, gives you a strong pelvic floor, boosts mood and is a fun form of exercising that is available to all ages and abilities.
