In “Primordial Seas,” artists Bernadette Facer and Terhi Hakola honour the countless waters and waterways upon which life on our planet depends.
The specific bodies of water they explore in their work, in opposite sides of the world, talk for the universal entanglements between human and non-human lifeworld.
The artists’ diverse mediums and perspectives share a common desire: to deepen understanding of our vital connection to the waters, the lands that contain them, and the sentient beings they support.
