Millions in sporting grants up for grabs
Round 2 of the state government’s Greater Cities Sport Facility Fund is now open.
The fund provides grants for new and upgraded sports facilities across New South Wales. Grants range from $100,000 to $1 million, depending on the size and scope of the facilities in question.
Local MP James Griffin is encouraging sporting organisations across the Northern Beaches to apply for a slice of the millions of dollars up for grabs.
“The health and wellbeing benefits of sport and active recreation can’t be underestimated,” Mr Griffin said.
“The fund is improving local sports facilities and active recreational spaces, and enabling more people to participate in sport and active recreation.
“I encourage local organisations to apply for a grant under the fund.”
