Plans for a mixed-use 25-story building with 156 brand new apartments in Chatswood are now open for public exhibition.

Heworth, planners for the project, say the proposal, which was endorsed by Willoughby Council, will help activate the northern end of the Chatswood CBD and ‘support the future growth of the Chatswood’.

“We’re excited that we’ve achieved this significant planning milestone which allows us to progress to a detailed development application (DA) next year,” says Heworth’s head of property, Christopher Walsh.

“The project will deliver a pipeline of much-needed housing stock in the heart of Chatswood, with its retail and commercial components creating an important flow-on of new local employment opportunities for the community,” he continues.

There will also be a total of eight retail spaces located on the ground floor and 188 car park spaces.

Upon planning approvals being granted, Heworth expects to commence construction in 2023.
