Feed a firefighter
Rural Fire Service NSW

Our local fireys are in desperate need of volunteers to join the NSW RFS Northern Beaches Catering Brigade. Volunteers will contribute to protecting the Northern Beaches area from bushfire threat by ensuring the local firefighters are well nourished and able to perform to the best of their ability. Organise a local sustainable market
Killarney Recycle Market
Killarney Heights

Volunteer to be an organiser of the Killarney Recycle Market, an initiative to reduce landfill by recycling no longer required items among the community. Held every third Sunday of the month from 8.30am to 1pm, organisers help with setup, advertising and running the event. This also includes choosing a local good cause for door donations, liaising with stall holders, and training any future volunteers, including collecting and passing on suggested improvements from previous months. Interested parties should contact Steph Minshall at mail@minshall.com.au

No prior experience is needed, and all training will be provided, which usually encompasses a one-day session and a police check.
