The Railglider Revolution
The launch of the Compact Twin Railglider has given consumers an opportunity to install a lift that fits the stature of their properties without the need for a large, traditional twin rail product; often too bulky for standard residential applications.
“We’ve been knocked over in the rush,” says Carey Phillips, Railius’ business development manager.
“Clients are looking for a product that has the speed, stability and performance that a Compact Twin Rail Railglider provides straight out of the box.
“Up to now, no inclinator of any description has been able to provide the flexibility that a Compact Twin offers.”
While the term inclinator refers to a ‘rack and pinion’ funicular lift, the Railglider is a product that moves away from the noisy, often slow and wobbly inclinator and over to a secure, fast and comfortable lift that changes elevation and speed seamlessly throughout the journey.
“There is no out of level with a Railglider,” adds Albert Boukarim, Railius’ project engineer.
“The changing of gradient while maintaining a level car at all times is often hard to explain; the lift just stays perfectly level!”
With all Railgliders made here on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, the quality of the lifts are of the standard that one would expect from ‘Australian made’.
Not only are all Railgliders made locally, the Railius team has implemented a successful work from home strategy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
This has allowed the team to spend less time in traffic and more time designing Railgliders for our clients.
The Compact Twin Railglider is currently being fitted in at 12 homes around Pittwater and with enquires more than doubling throughout January, February and March, Railius is expecting many more to be added to that total over the coming weeks and months.
